Pastor Jackson and MacKenzie Gravitt

Pastor Jackson Gravitt is a lifelong native of Dayton, Tennessee. He came to Christ as a teenager and soon felt a call to Christian ministry. Jackson pursued God’s call through his education at Bryan College and Erskine Theological Seminary. He and his wonderful wife, MacKenzie were active members of Westminster for six years while he invested in students, first at Rhea County Academy (High School Bible Teacher) and then at Bryan College (Christian Studies faculty and Honors Program Director). God used these years to confirm Jackson's heart for the pastorate. As he and MacKenzie began praying for a full-time church ministry, WPC began its search for a new pastor, and God clearly led our congregation to invite Jackson to step into leadership here. Jackson, MacKenzie, and their three sons—Henry, Simon, and Cedric—love the people of Dayton and Westminster. They count it a privilege to be able to serve God’s kingdom here at “home.”

Jackson was ordained and installed as our pastor on July 26, 2026. CLICK HERE to learn more about him and about that special day in the life of our church.
