Last Meeting

• Our last meeting was held February 7, 2008 @ 6:30pm at the church. Minutes for this meeting will be available soon.
• The TN Valley PresWIC Spring Luncheon will be Saturday, April 5th, 2008 at 10am CST at First Presbyterian Church in Crossville, TN.  The cost is $6 for the luncheon, but please don't let the cost get in the way.  Everyone who wants to go will be able to attend.  This will be a wonderful time of fellowship and training.  Please mark it on your calendars and plan to attend.  RSVP to Alison Wasser by March 22nd.  We can all carpool together.

Philosophy of WIC

The purpose of the Women In the Church is that every woman know Christ personally and be committed to extending His Kingdom in her life, home, church, community, and throughout the world.  The framework of the Women In the Church organization provides an opportunity for each woman to exercise her gifts and abilities to the glory of God in the total work and worship of the church.  The goal is that this purpose will become a reality as women are given opportunities to respond the to the Gospel and to pray, study the Scriptures, fellowship and serve the Lord together.  The Women In the Church organization recognizes that all ministries and activities of the church are under the authority and guidance of the session. 

 For Zion's sake I will not rest and for Jerusalem's sake I will not keep silent, until her righteousness goes forth as brightness and the salvation therof as a lamp that burneth.   (Isaiah 62:1)
